Apple iPhone 3GS Repair Crook Strikes Again in Auckland Central

20-January-2011--Courier back a customer's Apple iPhone 3GS after replacing the top flex (which consist of the volume up/down button, mute button, audio jack and power on/off button).

According to the client who fell victim to a very sick looking "Chinaman" (looks like a walking-dead body) who seems to bullshit a lot of his ability to make DEAD Apple iPhone come alive!  The only problem initially with the iPhone 3GS is charging problem.  The idiot "iPhone Repair Pro" said there is something wrong the the top flex (?).  When this crook talks to client, he never, ever look straight into client's eyes (tell a lot how criminals behave). Then the crook charge the customer $290 + GST.

The add injury to insult, the idiot scammer had killed the WiFi function of this Apple iPhone 3GS.  We found out the data connector was faulty and changed a new original unit for the client.  The wifi chip was killed by the semi-pro "iPhone Specialist" in Auckland Central.

The idiot crook never know who is that customer he ripped off but he going to regret it big time.  We bet this crook hardly can have any sleep over the past months.  The best is yet to come, but it will come in a big-bag with several government departs will file suits on him and his foreign wife (no-speak Engrish).

We pray that no more innocent Kiwis will fall victim to this PARIAH of the genuine repair centre.  He should watch more YouTube on how to repair phones or perhaps one day he can become a brain surgeon?

Street View: Avondale, Auckland, New Zealand. 20 January, 2011.

Used the new Apple iPhon 4 app called Camtastic to capture these picture on a hot summer day while driving through Avondale, Auckland.

James Bond Using Apple iPhone 4G? It is 007 in Auckland

I am not sure if was James Bond was in Auckland today, I saw him walking with his Apple iPhone 4 in Auckland.  Just to make sure, I noted his car's registration number! http://davidinauckland.blogspot.com

An innocent Nokua E72 was cheated by the ultra thin con man in Auckland Central two days ago. Client parted with $85 "inspection fee" by the crook. After one day, the Symbian software were damaged and the entire holiday
Picture and video clips were erased!

Client claimed that the crook operates from a cheap-looking retail space, the shop look like a low-end $2 Shop. Note that this crook talks a lit and always gives out fake smile. A fat oily foreign woman us always seen around that run down shop (she cannot understand English at all and sounds like a colorful parrot). They claimed to Kiwis; yeah right--pigs in Dunedin can fly!.

Always check with authorized Vodafone, Telecom and 2 Degree Mobile's authorized dealers before you let this scammer cheat your hard earn money!

After being charged $85 by this crook in Auckland Central "iPhone Repair Specialist", a brand new Nokia EE72 was damaged and all information wiped clean! If you know any victim screwed by this semi-pro crook, please text us at 021-117-2222

Hot Window 7 Phone: HTC 7 Mozart quick review (tech, new, update, report, Auckland)

The HTC 7 Mozart is not the kind we are used to meeting - and no, before you ask, it's not a music-centric gadget as the name suggests. Something quite different in fact, it's all about the camera that goes beyond Microsoft's demanding specs.
Once again, HTC are trying to escape from Microsoft's cookie-cutter approach and the Mozart promises to let Windows Phone 7 show it can do more. There's much to be excited about here and there's bad news for some of the top cameraphones around.
The HTC 7 Mozart is the first WP7 phone to go 8MP and the first one to pack a Xenon flash. Seems like plenty of cameraphone buffs are hearing Christmas bells already. We'll pretend we don't for a while and put on our shooting socks instead. It's time to see what the HTC Mozart is really made of.

Key features:
3.7" 16M-color capacitive LCD touchscreen of WVGA resolution (480 x 800 pixels)
Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support
Dual-band 3G with HSDPA (7.2 Mbps) and HSUPA (2Mbps)
Windows Phone 7 operating system
1GHz Snapdragon CPU, 576MB RAM, 512MB ROM
8 megapixel autofocus camera with Xenon flash, geotagging
720p video recording @ 25fps
8GB of built-in storage
Standard 3.5mm audio jack
Standard microUSB port (charging)
Dolby Mobile and SRS sound enhancement
Pretty good audio quality
Wi-Fi b/g/n
Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP
Accelerometer for screen auto rotation
Office document editor
Facebook integration and cloud services
Built-in A-GPS receiver
Stereo FM Radio with RDS
Comes with HTC Hub and exclusive HTC apps
Voice-to-text functionality

Main disadvantages:
Disastrous camera performance
Weak xenon flash
Non-expandable storage
No lens protection
WP7-specific limitations
No system-wide file manager
No Bluetooth file transfers
No USB mass storage mode
Limited third-party apps availability
No Flash (nor Silverlight) support in the browser
Too dependent on Zune software for file management and syncing
No video calls
New ringtones available only through the Marketplace
Music player lacks equalizer presets
No multitasking
No copy/paste
No DivX/XviD video support (automatic transcoding provided by Zune software)
No sign of free Bing maps Navigation so far
No internet tethering support
No handwriting recognition support

So here we are again – reviewing another Windows Phone 7 device. Not that we mind though. And for a change, it's not another case of struggling to put a face to a name.
We've been there already: the OS limitations and the ensuing deal-breakers are no news to you. If you have your sights set on Windows Phone 7 you probably know everything there is to know about it. There's much to love about the Metro interface – and there's no denying some things about Windows Phone 7 just could've been better. But if your glass is half full rather than half empty – there's good news.
Microsoft are prepping the first Windows Phone 7 update, which will enable copy/paste and is supposed to bring some multitasking magic. It's going to hit all WP7-based devices at the very beginning of next year.

1.2Ghz BlackBerry Torch 2 on the way, 11mm-thin Curve Apollo too! (Abby Technology Limited)

That nice BlackBerry Dakota yesterday is obviously in for some company. We just spotted a couple of new devices by the company, leaked in all their press glory and full specs. Meet the BlackBerry Torch 2 and the Curve Apollo.
It seems BlackBerry plans to go big has some big plans for this year. As much as we appreciate their service, you can't deny they've been offering only under-spec'd, over-priced handsets lately. But they've obviously had enough of that.
BlackBery Torch 2
The next generation of the BlackBerry Torch (aptly named Torch 2) will double the processor clock speed of the original to the whopping 1.2 GHz.
The new uber-BlackBerry will also have a 3.2-inch VGA screen, 8 gigs of storage, 512MB RAM, Wi-Fi, GPS, a digital compass, a proximity sensor and a 5 megapixel camera. The NFC support comes as an unexpected bonus.
The Torch 2 will run the BlackBerry OS 6.1 and will launch in Q3 (at least in the AT&T network in the US).
BlackBery Curve Apollo
If the recently leaked devices are anything to go by, BlackBerry is on the way of bumping the base specs throughout its portfolio. The Curve line isn't quite known for its high-end features or performance, but the leaked Curve Apollo surely has some nice specs - at least on paper.
Here's what the next generation BlackBerry Curve will look like. Preserving the traditional look, the new BlackBerry Curve Apollo is trendy and modern at the same time.
The BlackBerry Curve codenamed Apollo has a HVGA display (480 x 360 pixels), a Marvel Tavor MG-1 800MHz CPU, 512MB RAM, Wireless N, GPS, and again, NFC connectivity. We did a little digging on that CPU and it seems it's the same Marvel core used on all previous BlackBerries, but it's now clocked at 800Mhz instead of 624Mhz. We hope that will be enough to pull a nice performance under the new BlackBerry OS 6.1.
Finally, the BlackBerry Curve Apollo is only 11mm thin and has a 5 megapixel camera with flash. We don't know any more details about its availability just yet.

Leaked: Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 and Galaxy Suit S5670 (tech, news, report, update)

Official photos of a couple of Samsung Android smartphones just appeared. The Galaxy Ace S5830 makes its second public appearance, while the Galaxy Suit S5670 is only now taking its first trip through Rumorland.
Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 was initially known as Galaxy Mini, when it leaked a couple of days ago. Apart from the new name, the newly leaked low-resolution shot doesn't reveal any new information about the handset's specs sheet. So far we have Android 2.2 Froyo, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and an HVGA screen. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 are also confirmed, while GPS and microUSB seem like a pretty reasonable guess.
The Samsung Suit S5670 on the other hand, remains a complete enigma to us. Its model number and looks suggest mid-range functionality, so it might be the I5500 Galaxy 5 successor. Judging by the icons on the screen, the Samsung Suite S5670 is running Android 2.2 Froyo too.
It appears that Samsung will be quite busy at the MWC this year. We've already seen four Android smartphones, including the Galaxy S 2. Undoubtedly the Koreans will also have some Bada devices to show us and we might even see a new WP7 handset or two.

Doctor accidentaly removes patient's penis

Doctors' unions in Romania have criticised a decision to make a surgeon pay £100,000 in damages after he lost his temper and hacked off a patient's penis during surgery.
Surgeon Naum Ciomu, who had been suffering from stress at the time, had been operating on patient Nelu Radonescu, 36, to correct a testicular malformation when he suddenly lost his temper.
Grabbing a scalpel, he sliced off the penis in front of shocked nursing staff, and then placed it on the operating table where he chopped it into small pieces before storming out of the operating theatre at Bucharest hospital.
A Romanian court has now awarded Radonescu £20,000 costs ? to pay for the operation to rebuild his ruined penis using tissue from his arm ? as well as 100,000 pounds in damages.
The medical costs will be paid by the hospital's insurer, but doctors' unions have criticised the decision that the money for the damages has to be paid by the doctor.
They say the move sets a dangerous precedent and that Professor Ciomu, a urologist and lecturer in anatomy, has already been punished enough after having his medical licence suspended.
They said he had been under stress and had lost his temper after he accidentally cut the man's urinary channel and 'overreacted' to the situation. He told the court it was a temporary loss of judgement due to personal problems.
Vice-president of the Romanian Doctors Union, Vasile Astarastoae, said: 'Ciomu's case is a dangerous precedent for all Romanian doctors. In future doctors may have to think very carefully about what work they undertake.'
Because obviously, the last thing you want is a doctor thinking carefully about the work they're doing.
The director of the ophthalmology hospital in Bucharest, Dr Monica Pop (yes, actually her name), agreed saying that doctors would in future avoid any cases where they could end up in court having to pay damages.
She added: 'Doctors in Romanian earn too little to be able to pay amounts like this. As a result it will be entirely fair if they only accept cases where they cannot make mistakes. The only way this can be avoided is if the insurance companies cover all the risk.'

Do you know? Elvis was Blond! (Hollywood, legend, rock, movie, star, famous people)

Elvis didn't naturally have black hair.  He was born a blond and, when he got older, his hair was more of a sandy blond color.  He started occasionally dying it black all the way back when he was in high school and eventually just always kept it as black.
Other fun Elvis Related Facts:
There are an estimated 50,000 people in the world today that make a living as Elvis impersonators.
Elvis had a black belt in Karate and loved the martial art so much he gave his instructor $50,000 to start a Karate school in Memphis.
(irony alert) Elvis once wrote a letter to President Nixon asking to become an undercover narcotics cop. Nixon responded by personally giving Elvis a Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs badge.
During Elvis's autopsy, doctors found 10 different drugs in Elvis's blood stream.

Why Zippers Have YKK On Them (strange, weird, facts, world, record)

Do you know why zippers have a YKK on them.   The YKK stands for Yoshida Kogyo Kabushikikaisha (say that five times fast).  In 1934 Tadao Yoshida founded Yoshida Kogyo Kabushikikaisha (translated Yoshida Industries Limited).  This company is now the worlds foremost zipper manufacturer, making about 90% of all zippers in over 206 facilities in 52 countries.  In fact, they not only make the zippers, they also make the machines that make the zippers; no word on if they make the machines that make the parts that make up the machines that make the zippers.
Their largest factory in Georgia makes over 7 million zippers per day.
In any event, Mr. Yoshida's company zipped to number one by practicing the "Cycle of Goodness", as he called it.  Namely, "No one prospers unless he renders benefit to others."  Using this principle, he endeavored to create the best zippers out there that would hold up over long periods of time in the end product.  This in turn would benefit both the manufacturers who used his zippers and the end customer and because of these things benefit his company with higher repeat and referral sales, thus completing the "Cycle of Goodness" *zen moment*
So next time you're zipping up, take a moment to remember Mr. Yoshida; also, if you're going commando, careful with Captain Winky on the zip up.  I can't stress that enough.
