2025 Tech Update:
How to link your Google Gemini AI app with
other Google Apps on your Apple iPhone?

On your Apple iPhone, the Google Gemini AI app can integrate with several other Google apps to enhance its functionality and help you get things done more efficiently. Here are the Google apps that are currently compatible and how you can start using this function:

Compatible Google Apps:

Based on the latest information, the Google Gemini app on your iPhone can connect with the following Google apps:

Gmail: Gemini can help you summarize emails, find specific information within your inbox, and even draft email replies. For example, you can ask Gemini to "summarize the latest email from Sarah about the project update" or "find the email where I discussed the meeting time with John."

Google Maps: You can ask Gemini for directions, find nearby places, and get information about locations. For instance, you could say, "Find the nearest coffee shops open now" or "How long will it take to drive to the airport?"

YouTube: Gemini can search for videos, summarize their content, and answer questions about them. You might ask, "Show me a video on how to bake a chocolate cake" or "What are the main points discussed in the latest Google product announcement video?"

Google Drive: Gemini can help you find files in your Drive and summarize their content. For example, you could ask, "Find the presentation about the marketing strategy" or "Summarize the document titled 'Project Proposal'."

Google Calendar: Gemini can access your calendar to help you schedule events, check your upcoming appointments, and get reminders. You could say, "Schedule a meeting with the team for tomorrow at 2 PM" or "What are my appointments for the rest of the week?"

Google Keep: Gemini can create new notes and lists in Keep, and also retrieve information from your existing notes. For example, you could ask Gemini to "Create a shopping list with milk, eggs, and bread" or "Remind me what's on my to-do list for today."

Google Tasks: Similar to Keep, Gemini can interact with your Google Tasks to help you manage your to-do items. You can ask it to add new tasks or check on your existing ones.

How to Start Using This Function:

To enable Gemini to connect and interact with your other Google apps on your iPhone, follow these general steps:

Open the Gemini App: Launch the Google Gemini app on your iPhone.

Go to Settings: Tap on your profile icon (usually in the top right corner) to access the settings menu.

Find "Apps": Look for a section labeled "Apps," "Connected Apps," or something similar. This is where you manage which Google apps Gemini can access.

Enable Apps: You will likely see a list of compatible Google apps. Toggle the switch next to each app you want Gemini to be able to use. You might be asked to grant Gemini permission to access data from these apps.

Interact with Gemini: Once the apps are enabled, you can start including them in your prompts to Gemini. For example:

To check your Gmail: "Check my Gmail for any new messages about the conference."

To find a location on Maps: "Show me the route to the nearest Italian restaurant on Google Maps."

To search on YouTube: "Find a beginner's tutorial for playing the guitar on YouTube."

To find a file in Drive: "@Drive find my document about quarterly reports."

To add an event to Calendar: "@Calendar schedule a reminder for Friday at 10 AM to send out the newsletter."

To create a note in Keep: "@Keep create a note titled 'Grocery List' with items: apples, bananas, cereal."

Important Considerations:

Gemini Apps Activity: For Gemini to connect with other apps, you usually need to have "Gemini Apps Activity" turned on in your settings. This allows Google to store your interactions and the information from connected apps to provide more helpful responses. You can manage and review this activity in your Google Account settings.

Specific Syntax: In some cases, you might need to use a specific syntax to explicitly tell Gemini to use a particular app, such as using "@" followed by the app name (e.g., "@Gmail").

Feature Availability: The integration features and the specific ways you interact with them might evolve over time as the Gemini app is updated. Keep an eye on announcements from Google for the latest features and functionalities.

Permissions: Ensure you understand and are comfortable with the permissions you grant to Gemini to access your data in other Google apps. You can usually manage these permissions in the Gemini app's settings.

5 Facts About Lamborghini (speed, road, user, drivers, hot, wheels, machines, tech, review, update)

Are you a big Lamborghini fan?
Most of us agrees that Lamborghini is a great looking car and I am sure that many wealty people who love cars wouldn´t hesitate to have one in their collection. Cars like Lamborghini Diablo, the Gallardo and the Murcielago are like candy to my eyes. Here is a list of 5 facts you should know about Lamborghini…
Fact 1
Did you know that the fastest Lamborghini, with a reported top speed of 370 km/h,  is the Le Mans version of the Murcielago R-GT model. The fastest street model from Lamborghini, with a reported top speed of 340 km/h,  is the Murcielago LP640. Both of the models have a V12 engine with more than 6000 cc.
Fact 2
Did you know that Lamborghini used to be an independent company, but went bankrupt in 1978 and was sold to Chrysler. In 1998, the German company, Audi AG, became the owner of  Lamborghini.
Fact 3
Did you know that most of the Lamborghini models are produced with a V12 engine, even though the newest model, Gallardo, have a V10 engine oil. No Lamborghini have ever been produced with less than a V8 engine.
Fact 4
Did you know that the first Lamborghini was produced in 1963 and called for the 350GTV. With a top speed of 280 km/h, the 350GTV was extremely fast back in 1963. The first Lamborghini to go faster than 300 km/h came out in 1974 and was called for the Countach.
Fact 5
Did you know that the Countach, the Diablo and the Murcielago all have scissor doors (that rotate up and forward on a hinge near the front of the door), but the Gallardo does not.  Both the Diablo and the Countach are no longer being produced, so the only Lamborghini car with scissor doors today is the Murcielago.

2011: New and weird gadget, the transparent Windows Smartphone (Dr Mobiles Limited) (09) 551-5344

Transparent Windows MOBILE

Window Phone - concept phone On one hand, clear conceptual phones already, so this is not just the first, but on the other, the so-called Window Phone has one impressive feature - its transparent housing varies depending on the weather! Thus, in the sunny days, the screen will be completely transparent, on a rainy day it will appear «virtual» drop, but it is covered with frost frost. Ie translucent screen will look like as well as present a window into a variety of weather. I do not know how it will be practical, but at least, very original! Smile

20 Facts About YouTube You Probably Didn’t Know (www.drmobiles.co.nz)

What I find most interesting is that YouTube only has a 22% traffic share from the US, the rest is outside of the US. Here on Bit Rebels, not to compare the two’s success of course, we enjoy 48% of our traffic from the US. It’s a steep difference to say the least. Then again, the fact that video is such a widespread medium that can be understood by pretty much everyone could explain the odd numbers.

GO-Gulf decided to dig a little bit deeper into the facts of YouTube to uncover some of the more unknown facts that might interest the public. Some of these I have never heard before, but you have to remember that the infographic was put together sometime in November, 2010, so the data might not be entirely accurate. However, it is quite stunning and inspiring from a website point of view.

Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim certainly created something great, and the price they got from selling their brainchild back in 2006 was a whopping 1.65 billion dollars. It’s quite a nice chunk of cash for solving the problem of sharing videos on the Internet. Ever since Google bought the video sharing service, it has increased even more in popularity. It has seen a few changes since the days of being in the care of its founders. It will be interesting to see its development, and what it keeps bringing to the table of the ever evolving online experience.
