Here are some tips to save battery on your iPhone 15 Pro Max:

1.  Turn Off Live Activities: Live Activities let apps keep an ongoing notification on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island, which can noticeably drain the battery1.

2.  Delete Lock Screen and Home Screen Widgets: If you're not using a particular widget often, it might be best to remove it to preserve battery life1.

3.  Turn Off Live Voicemail: This feature lets you get a real-time readout of a voicemail that someone is leaving so you can answer the phone if it's something important1.

4.  Enable Optimized Battery Charging: This feature learns your usage habits over time, and only tops off to 100% based on that usage2.

5.  Use Low Power Mode: This mode reduces the amount of power that your iPhone uses when the battery gets low2.

6.  Turn on Auto Brightness: This feature adjusts your screen to lighting conditions automatically3.

7.  Limit Location Services: Apps and websites use your location to provide services like weather data, news, or shopping info3.

8.  Disable Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AirDrop When Not in Use: These services can drain your battery faster when left on3.

9.  Enable the Charge Limiter: This new feature allows you to stop charging the battery at 80% and thereby increase the battery's lifespan.

Remember, these tips are not specific to iOS 17 and the iPhone 15 models, but these steps will absolutely help preserve battery on your new device.
