HTC has just started seeding the latest firmware update for their Incredible S Android smartphone. It's quite a major bump, bringing the Android version up to 2.3.5 and the Sense UI 3.0. Reports about the over-the-air update have been coming from several parts of Europe, though it's not a global thing yet and some regions are still left in the dry. We also don't have an exact changelog so we don't know if anything changed backstage.
Still, the UI changes alone are enough to make it a worthy update, so you might want to keep an eye on that notification bar in the following days. You can also perform a manual check to see if the update has been made available to you by going to:
Settings -> About phone -> Software Updates and clicking Check Now.
We also got word that the same update package is coming to the HTC Desire HD in the near future. It's good to know that HTC hasn't forgotten all about its former flagship now that it has released the new wave of high-end droids.
