The oldest Levi's jeans (age is about 120 years old) for $ 150,000

On eBay Internet auction site on display are the oldest pair of jeans Levi's, dated 1879 year. Jeans, not trendy cut, with holes and scuffed, will cost the fans of retro-style in a tidy sum - $ 150,000.

This model of jeans is a simplified version of the famous Levi's 501 model and is equipped with an additional side pocket that the miners originally used to store tools. Jeans were produced in San Francisco from fabric made in a factory Amoskeag Mill in Manchester, New Hampshire. They cost at the time, probably about 75 cents - cheaper than a qualitative model 501, which costs about 1.25 dollars.

Judging by their appearance, these jeans were lying on a rubbish dump. Worker who discovered them, did not reject with scorn the old rag, and carefully examined her, gave her friend, to collect old clothes, and he in turn was shrewd enough to bringthem to assess the results of which were stunning: experts have almost certainly that those jeans - the oldest pair of jeans in the world. Therefore, for such a relic, whose age is about 120 years, set a price of $ 150,000.

The New RIM BlackBerry 7.1 OS out now with Wi-Fi hotspot and calls! (mobile phone news, update, reviews, Auckland)

RIM has just released an update for its lineup of BlackBerry 7 OS-running smartphones. Version 7.1 brings a few new features and updates a few of the native Blackberry apps.

The new features are:

Mobile Hotspot - up to five devices supported at once
Wi-Fi calls - does not use minutes of your plan
BlackBerry NFC Tag - easy accessory paring, BBM invitations, exchanging info and multimedia
Autosuggestions within the Universal Search
FM radio support and app

The updated apps are BlackBerry Messenger 6.1, BlackBerry Traffic, BlackBerry Maps and BlackBerry Travel.

Fujitsu showcases quad-core (2012 Smartphone Review, tech, news update)

Unlike what we thought before, Fujitsu didn't just have the ultra thin Arrows F-078 and the ES IS12F to display at the CES. In fact they had something really special to show, a quad-core Android smartphone running on Ice Cream Sandwich.

The phone currently is just a prototype and the specifications could change before it is announced officially at the MWC this year but it seems mighty impressive as it is. For starters it will run on the quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, which will take care of all your gaming needs. Fujitsu demonstrated this power by running Riptide GP on it and the device was able to run the game on its own display as well as an external monitor smoothly. And thanks to the fifth companion core built-in, it will consume less power when you're not running graphics heavy applications.

The Arrow prototype also had a 4.6-inch HD display and a 13.1 megapixel rear camera capable of ISO 25,600 sensitivity, although it remains to be seen how good the images are at that kind of ISO value. Lastly, the phone will launch with Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.

We will find out more about it at MWC along with information regarding which markets it plans to release the phone in. Although Fujitsu does plan to bring the phone to the west it eventually will also depend upon the carriers there.
