Touched down at my hometown, Alor Setar, Kedah

Finally, touched down in my hometown, my own town....(Remember the song by Bruce Springsteen, the Boss?).

Jonas Lim, my nephew picked me up from the Alor Setar local airport.  We went straight to have breakfast at Keat Hwa Old Bot’s Assiciate Building, Jalan Ambar, Teluk Wanjah.

This time around, the weather isn’t that bad and it was not muggy.

For this trip, Jonas was the only family member I notified as I want to surprise everyone!

Short trip to Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia, 9th March, 2018. @davidlim

1st May, 2018:  It had been a very Challenging year for 2017. I’ve lost three male cousins by natural causes within 12 months (from March 2 0172 much 2018).  My cute Smart ForTwo car died on my in February, 2018.  We survived 140km/h storm in Auckland two months ago.

What else is new and how many more challenges are coming for The remainder of 2018.

This is the first posting my blog for 2018.

9th March, 2018:  Departed from Auckland International Airport.  Transit in Gold Coast, Australia.

First meal at KLIA2 Airport.  Wolfe’s down 7 or 8 local pastry or food.

I was served by the same gentle last year when I was back for a month’s vacation in Malaysia.

October 15th, 2017:  It was a fun and easy Sunday spent with the family.  Injured by thumb and damaged the kite's reel as the wind was too strong to fly kite!  I flew my Prism kite.  On the same day I recorded my first video to be posted on YouTube (yes, after donkey years started using Apple iPhone).
