iPhone 4 Diamond Edition – Comes In White, Unlocked And With Diamonds

Ok so I think we can all safely say that the new iPhone 4 design is certainly a step up from the original iPhone and iPhone 3GS when it comes to its design. But just in case it wasn't flashy enough for you, or you really really wanted a white iPhone 4 (which you wont be able to get for a while) here's the iPhone 4 Diamond Edition for you.

Stuart Hughes has gone all out and has invested diamonds big time in his latest creation. The whole surrounding frame is encrusted with approc 6.5 carots of top quality diamonds, individually set with sparkling gems. The rear section houses beautiful solid Platinum and the Diamond Apple logo.

Of course it's unlocked, which is the least I would expect when forking over £12,995 or $20,000 for a iPhone and it's the 32GB model. It even comes with a case made from real Ostrich foot.
You better be quick though because it's a limited edition run of just 50 units and i'm sure they'll be sought after at that bargain price.

Leaked News: Apple Working On Mini iPhone For US$200? (Auckland Apple iPhone 4, 3GS Repair)

Mini_iphone

Bloombergs authors Peter Burrows and Greg Bensinger have reported on anonymous sources revealing that Apple has apparently developed a prototype iPhone model that is cheaper and one-third smaller than the current-generation iPhone 4.

Could this be the iPhone 5? Or some sort of iPhone Nano to squeeze into the market?

They claim that this smaller iPhone could be priced as low as $200 without a contract hoping that it will help Apple compete with the huge surge in Android sales over the past year or two.

One version would be cheaper and smaller than the most recent iPhone, said a person who has seen a prototype and asked not to be identified because the plans haven’t been made public. Apple also is developing technology that makes it easier to use the iPhone on multiple wireless networks, two people said.

The main reason while Android is doing better than Apple at the moment is the price gap, any iPhone is still much more expensive than an Android smartphone in general.

If it was priced at just $200 for a contract free iPhone, this would allow carriers to offer subsidies selling the phone for free.

Whether or not this iPhone could come to light still remains unseen, it’s not clear if it will actually make it into production at this stage.

While Apple has aimed to unveil the device near mid-year, the introduction may be delayed or scrapped, the person said. Few Apple employees know the details of the project, the person said. Apple often works on products that do not later get released.

The report also mentions that Apple are working on another iPhone, quite possibly the iPhone 5 which will on both CDMA and GSM networks, making it a more world wide universal device which could be used on most networks, as well as the idea of in built sim cards

We did hear rumors of an iPhone Nano years ago, but that never came to light, I wonder if this is just another one of those?

iPhone 5 Part Suggests Sliding Cover? (tech, news, leaked, preview, scoop, Auckland)

Iphone_5_slider
A 30-pin dock connector cable which claims to be a  prototype part for Apple’s  iPhone 5 has surfaced on the web once again. Along with it come fresh rumors and details of a sliding screen cover that could suggest a hardware keyboard. Which we’ve already had a rumor about before
These latest rumors come fresh from w.apple.pro who posted a photo they claim is from the iPhone 5. What it appears to be is a 30-pin dock connector and the ribbon used to attach it inside of Apple’s handset. It’s labeled 821-1300-02 HF/c1.
You’ll need to translate the page to make any sense of it but it claims that reports of the 4 inch edge-edge screen that we’ve had to date are fake. This would also contradict the iPhone 5 part showing a 4 inch screen we came across
Instead, they claim the iPhone 5 will have a “sliding cover” and will have the same frame shape as the current iPhone 4, but will be “slightly thicker” than the current gen iPhone.
While the translation does not specifically indicate a sliding cover would involve a physical keyboard, it’s hard to see what else it could be.
It’s unlike Apple to want to include more buttons on their devices so I struggle to believe this one.
On the other hand, apple.pro have been accurate in the past with their Apple parts. The correctly had the new screen for the iPod nano before it was announced, along with the iPhone 4 battery, white cover as well as new Macbook bodies, so they could have something here.
Hmm what do you guys think a sliding cover could be? A keyboard?
Let us know below!
