The 2010 Legatum Prosperity Index (living, standard, world, record, migration, ranking, "Auckland Repair"

I was reading the the online newspaper, New Zealand Herald and bumped into this article about the prosperity ranking of countries in the world.  You will find it interesting as the there is a co-relation of each country's prosperity versus the corruption rating in the world.  [http://tiny.cc/nz5]

Most of us that is living a stress-less lifestyle here in New Zealand would count our blessings; the economy is always stable; the education system is world-class and the kids' future seems much brighter than most of the so called "first world countries".

Famliy Day Trip to Rangitoto Island, Auckland (holiday, sea, cruise, island, ocean, lifestyle

Spent a splendid trip to Rangitoto Island with the Lew Family and mine.  It was very educational and refreshing day out (even though the sun was strong).  We took the tramp pulled by a powerful tractor and learned heaps of new information about this unique volcanic island (there is not insect or earthworm here due to the volcanic soil).  The driver is a typical Kiwi, pleasant, very knowledgeable, takes good care of his passengers.
We took the Fuller's ferry booked and paid online for the day trip.  I would suggest you bring your family there for short day trip, something for a change.

Waiting for Telecom New Zealand's action on Broadband Acccount (Auckland, New Zealand

26th October, 2010 -- Just talked to Mr. S N of Telecom New Zealand Broadband customer service. He is one of best customer service front liner we have came across so far.

We are wondering why our broadband was changed to dial-up speed yesterday with any person from Telecom informing us nor calling us to inform us.

The most important part is that we never give any verbal or written consent for them to change our data plan.

There might be a miscommunication on their part, so we will see what happen next.

HTC Desire HD Avaialble Now at Online Store ("HTC Repair", Unlock, Auckland, "Abby Technology"

The HTC Desire HD has been featured in numerous pre-release articles but it's only now that you are finally able to go and actually buy it. It's just you won't have to go anywhere as it's available in the online UK stores for several carriers, as well as a SIM-free version, too.

The beefy droid topped performance benchmarks, as it should - it has more RAM than some netbooks (768MB), and it's a champ at booting too. The Desire HD also features the latest Sense UI with HTCSense.com integration.
The site uSwitch has the HTC Desire HD on sale with a handy configurator to choose your plan (carrier, cost, minutes, texts, mobile Internet, etc.), starting from free. They have it SIM-free as well - it will set you back 465 pounds (that works out to 530 euro).

Expansys offer the Desire HD as well - 499 pounds (570 euro) or on a two-year Vodafone plan for free (35 pounds a month). On some other sites like Play.com, the HTC Desire HD is still on preorder but is expected to go on sale next Monday (October 25)
