Some views of the Devinci Louch Promendae at One Tree Hill. I like to take the family and my dog Skippy there during weekends to relax our minds!

Mt Eden, Auckland, New Zealand, 19 July, 2009 (Taking photos of the scenery).

During a lazy and cold winter afternoon, I decided to hop on the car bring my digital SLR to take some picture on top of Mt. Eden. The wind was blowing very strong and not many tourists visited the place. I should have been there around 3.00pm not after 4.00pm, as the sun sets early during Winter months. Any way, I tripped and have a slight fall, skinned my knee but no big drama (my digital camera was safe, not even a scratch on it). There were two playful seagulls soaring in the sky, above the giant creator of Mt Eden. It very hard to get a clear shot of these bird on a gloomy day. I took about 100 photos before going down from Mt Eden and to get a warm cup of coffee and a break!

Some view of North Shore Auckland, New Zealand, May 2009

(Please click on the individual picture to get larger view).

Took all these pictures with my mate's Blackberry 8310 PDA. The outcome of the shots were not bad eventhought his 8310 is only 2 Meg Pixel and do not have auto focus compared to Nokia N95 8GB's 5 Meg Pixel! The color of the digital picture is very natural and vivid too. I found that this is the perfect way to take picture for blogging!

Easter Sunday: Trip to Port Waikator, New Zealand

We went out for a short trip to Pokeno and visited the local Sunday market and I am the only one who had a serving of ice-cream as the rest of them said the weather is too cool for that!

Along the way, we stopped by a bridge after crossing the Waikato River. It reminds me of the bridge we have to cross going to Penang Island during my childhood years.

We drove further on and visited Port Waikato. The sand is black but the view is splendid even it was cloudy day.
