Book and paid for return trip ticket for the family's holiday.

We have booked and paid for the family's holiday. It is a bit scary to pay such an amount via online payment over the airline's website and this is the first time we did it. Usually we are used to visit our travel agent and let them handle the booking and make payemnt at their office.

The airline sent an email to confirm the booking, travel details, passenger info within hours after payment being made online. All we have to do is print out that email, bring it to the Auckland Airport before checking in to get the boarding pass. We will be away for about five weeks from New Zealand for the vacation.

Easter Sunday: Trip to Port Waikator, New Zealand

We went out for a short trip to Pokeno and visited the local Sunday market and I am the only one who had a serving of ice-cream as the rest of them said the weather is too cool for that!

Along the way, we stopped by a bridge after crossing the Waikato River. It reminds me of the bridge we have to cross going to Penang Island during my childhood years.

We drove further on and visited Port Waikato. The sand is black but the view is splendid even it was cloudy day.

Unreal but true news: Mother-in-law survives rocket attack

A desperate husband tried to kill his mother-in-law with an anti-tank missile launcher after claiming she'd turned his wife against him. Bosnian Miroslav Miljici wanted revenge after blaming his wife's mum for the break-up of his marriage. And when his mother-in-law survived the rocket attack on her home, he tried to finish her off with a machine gun, a court in Doboj, Bosnia, was told. Amazingly, she survived both attacks with barely a scratch, judges heard. In defence Miljici - jailed for six years for attempted murder - told the court he could no longer take his mother-in-law's nagging.
