10. Bellevue Beach, Klapenburg, Denmark

Since it is close to the city (six miles north of Copenhagen), this beach can get quite crowded on sunny days. The crowd is young and loud music is common, but the beach itself is beautiful; the clear water and stone-free sand make it perfect for beach and water sports. If you prefer to just lie down and soak up some sun, you can take in the spectacular view of Sweden and the Bresund Bridge that links the two countries.
9. Gunnison Beach, Sandy Hook, New Jersey
Gunnison Beach, located on the Sandy Hook peninsula in the northeast corner of New Jersey, has been officially recognized as a clothing optional beach for several decades. In fact, it is probably the largest and most firmly established nud* beach on the East Coast of the United States. There are even signs that warn visitors that they may encounter nude sunbathers beyond a certain point. This huge sandy beach attracts a large and diverse crowd on hot summer days; the families, couples and singles mingling together will instantly make you feel comfortable.
8. Cap d'Agde, France
Located west of the famous Côte d'Azur region in the South of France, this busy resort area is known as the "nak*d city." Besides sunbathing and swimming, you can do your shopping, banking and dining in the buff along this terrific three-mile-long beach. Although it can get quite packed in the summer, the festive atmosphere and great weather will make it worth your while.
7. Morfa Dyffryn, North Wales, UK
Considered the best n-u-d-e beach in the UK by many, Morfa Dyffryn is situated on the Welsh coast between Barmouth and Harlech. On warm summer days, up to 500 nat*rists enjoy the fine sand and clear water of this beautiful mile-long beach, which never seems crowded due to its size. Visitors include families, singles and couples, although the northern part of the beach is mostly frequented by a gay crowd. The good news is that Morfa Dyffryn is large enough to give all types of nude sunbathers enough breathing space.
6. Orient Beach, St. Martin, West Indies
Possibly the biggest and most popular public n-u-d-e beach in the West Indies, the nat*rist part is located at the south end, near Club Orient. But thanks to a St. Martin law that prohibits any waterfront property from being privately owned, you can visit even if you're not staying at the resort. You can even have lunch completely nak*d at Club Orient's outdoor restaurant, as evidenced by the sign that says "No shirt, no problem."
5. Tulum Beach, Tulum, Mexico
The rustic cabanas of Cabañas Copal Hotel Tulum are nestled in a small clearing in the tropical forest overlooking the most private nud* beach in Tulum. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful environment for your nat*rist experience, this is the place to be. You can be nud* just about everywhere (the beach, the sandy terraces, the cabanas); you are only requested to wear simple, light clothing when dining in the restaurant. Besides sunbathing on the fine white sand and swimming in the crystal-clear Caribbean waters, you may want to visit the nearby Mayan ruins or one of the many crystal clear cenotes -- natural freshwater pools ideal for swimming, snorkeling or diving.
4. Baker Beach, San Francisco, California
Located only minutes from downtown San Francisco and offering an incredible view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Baker Beach is one of North America's hottest urban nat*rist beaches. The atmosphere is friendly and the crowd is mixed, including a lot of students. Although the water is usually on the cold side, the beach gets really busy on hot days due to its proximity to the city. In several areas, you will find many fully clothed people just "passing through"; you may even encounter a few annoying gawkers. If this happens, just ask someone how to get to North Baker Beach. While the northern part is mainly gay, this is also where most of the nud*sts congregate.
3. Mazo Beach, Mazomanie, Wisconsin
Located on the Wisconsin River between Sauk City and Mazomanie, this sandy riverbed beach is well known for its friendly atmosphere. Aside from regular beach activities such as volleyball, there are many organized events like the Nud* Olympics and "Christmas in July." On some weekends, a hot tub or trampoline is even brought down to the beach for some added excitement. At night, beachgoers gather around campfires to enjoy the starry sky and cheerful camaraderie. Just keep in mind that the river can be dang*rous due to its strong currents, which means that you should never swim alone.
2. Swanbourne Beach, Perth, Australia
This official n-u-d-e beach boasts impressive white sand dunes that attract hundreds of nat*rists to its shores. Local rules don't apply here, which explains why you are permitted to take it all off. Since gawkers are frowned upon and it is pretty much expected for everyone to go nude, you should be prepared to follow suit. In January or February, Swanbourne hosts the famous Nud* Beach Olympics. Now don't get any twisted ideas; it's a family event!
1. Playa d'Es Cavallet, Ibiza, Spain
Playa d'Es Cavallet, characterized by a broad beach and rolling sand dunes, is one of the "official" (and biggest) nud*st spots on the island. While the northern part of the beach may be best suited for families and prudes, the middle section is often occupied by couples who "disappear" into the sand dunes (wink, wink), and the southern end is mainly g ay. But no matter where you choose to park it, you'll find that the atmosphere is always lively thanks to the little bars and pubs that dot the beach. And the fine white sand makes it perfect for a leisurely stroll or an exciting game of beach volleyball.
