15 Simple and Affordable DIY Projects @davidlim, #davidlimnz, #davidinauckland

A homemade Airbus A320 jet takes shape in a yard in Tieling, Liaoning Province of China. Motorcycle mechanic Zhu Yue and his team have spent over 800,000 yuan (£85,000) completing the 37-metre-long plane.

DIY projects look fun and stylish, but many seem daunting because of 1) effort and expertise, and 2) cost. Some of us are less artistic, some of us don’t have tools to saw and drill into things, and some of us just plain can’t afford the materials to make these things. No fear, here are some affordable DIY projects that don’t require you to be a carpenter or a master artisté. Happy DIY-ing!

Man celebrates birthday and retires - and wins lottery in Canada later that day! #lotterywinner, #strangenews, #iphonerepair, #aucklandrepair

Ping Kuen Shum says he plans to visit China after winning two million Canadian dollars in the BC/49 British Columbia lottery.

Some people have all the luck.

That's what many will be thinking when they hear about one Canadian man's recent experience.

Ping Kuen Shum was celebrating his birthday and retirement when he decided to buy a lottery ticket on April 28.

Later that night, his ticket matched all six numbers - netting him the entire C$2m (£1.1m) jackpot.

"It’s unbelievable that all three events happened on the same day," said Mr Ping.

"I have worked hard for so many years and I’m looking forward to sharing this fortune with my family."

The odds of matching all six numbers for the BC/49 lottery are one in 13,983,816.

Mr Ping said he celebrated the win with a dim sum meal shared with his family and friends, and now plans to take a trip to China.

BC/49 is a British Columbia-only lottery game which costs $1 per ticket.

It comes after a claim was made for a £121m EuroMillions jackpot, which was won by a UK ticket holder in April. The lucky winner will be the third biggest lottery winner in UK history.

Sunday, 6th May, 2018

In order to catch up with my blogging frequency, sharing my thoughts and fit into my tight schedule; I had to use my old Apple iPhone 7 Plus to do my buildings.

Terry’s pros and cons of using iPhone to do blocking as the process is a bit slower, cumbersome and lack of physical keyboard to input the data.

Do you have a day he’s that I can block anyway I like Whenever I have a few minutes free. On top of that, it is easy to access the photos or videos I took.

The best part is that I don’t have to type might use voice dictation for composition. Besides that, or use the Apple Siri to help out on blogging.

The Blogger App on iOS platform could use some Improvements, in terms of the Into place and speed.
